3rd Joint Microeconomics Workshop Lille, 8th and 9th of June 2012
The EQUIPPE Research Centre of Université Lille 1 (France), the Department of Economics of Universiteit Antwerpen (Belgium) and the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) of Xiamen University (P.R. China) organise their 3rd Joint Microeconomics Workshop on the 8th and the 9th of June 2012 in Lille, following a first workshop organised in Xiamen in 2010 and a second workshop organised in Antwerp in 2011.

Call for papers
An international conference on
"Inequalities, Skills and Globalization"
is organised in Lille on the 21st and 22nd of June 2012
The conference is organised within the framework of the programme MONDES (Globalization, restructuring and social and professional downgrading), funded by the French Research National Agency (ANR), in partnership with EQUIPPE, the research group GRESI (Globalisation, Regionalization and Economic Inequality) financed by the Flanders Region, the MESHS (European Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities, Lille) and the University of Lille 1.
The conference aims at gathering the most recent analyses concerning the economics of growing inequalities and changing poverty within both advanced and emerging countries, with a special emphasis on their links with the process of globalization and on the relationships between inequality, skill and education.
Both theoretical and empirical works on the multiple dimensions of the dynamics of inequalities within globalized economies are welcome.
Deadline for submission of full papers: March 15th, 2012 (Extended)
Notification of acceptance: April 16th, 2012
Deadline for registration: May 20th, 2012
Publication of the conference final programme: May 25th, 2012
